Please note: Submission of payment does not guarantee author's participation as being a co-author in the "FIRST LADY SPEAK" book project. However, making a payment will secure your spot until you know otherwise. All authors will be notified in writing by Dr. Perkins whether they have been approved to be a co-author. All authors must go through a screening process. If for some reason you are not chosen to be a co-author in this book project, we will refund your money.

1. Will I be able to order books for me to sell when I need them?
Yes, we will be setting up a print-on-demand website account whereby we will be able to order books for you when you need them.
2. When I sell books, who gets the money?
All monies from books that you sell belongs to you.
3. Can I set the date for books to arrive?
No, most print-on-demand services based delivery dates on the demand they have from their customers. If printing during a season is slow, of course, the faster your books will be shipped to you.
4. What is the recommended timeframe should I allow when ordering books.
Two to three weeks. You never know what might be going on with a printer or shipping company (UPS, FedEX, etc.).
5. Who owns the rights to the ENTIRE book?

5. Do I own the rights to my story?
Yes, you own the rights to your OWN story. You can use your story anyway you want. Also, we reserve the right to use your story anyway we deem necessary for promotional
7. What imprint will it be printed under?
It will be printed under dpRochelle Publishing imprint.
8. When will the book be released?
Not sure, at this time. But we are hoping to release it around Mother's Day.
10. How much does it cost for me to participate.

11. Is there a payment plan available?
Yes, but everyone must initially pay $500 to secure their spot.
12. Will I be paid royalties from the book.
Yes, we will pay each author equal payment of any royalties collected after we have reach a threshold of $20,000. Because our partnering PR, Marketing & Branding Firm, Clark's Consultant Group, will be investing $20,000 into the book project to promote the book, no author will receive royalties until they have receive $20,000 back from their investment. Once this amount is collected, royalties will be paid quarterly to authors.
13. Can I get my money back if I don't finish my story by the deadline?
All monies invested are non-refundable. It will be forfeited if you do not meet the submission deadline regardless of the circumstance (death, illness, acts of God, etc.).
